THIS IS OUR OFFICE

Designed and built by us with a lot of love, simplicity and style.

HOME OR OFFICE? we hear that question a lot, and the answer is both! The property has 2 houses at the bottom (37m² and 30m²) and 2 offices (37m² and 35m²) at the top, where our coworking works! Our objective was that this project would provide us with a life within some minimalist concepts, that would be sustainable and bring some benefit to the region.

MINIMALISM - The concept of living only with what is really necessary has always attracted us and we decided to apply it in our home, changing from one with + of 300m² to one of 30m². He thinks that only what is necessary inside the mini-house, no excesses. In our case, we were looking for a simple life, with more time for relationships with God, family and friends.

SUSTAINABLE - There is no way to think about building and not taking this concept seriously. Much of the demolished material from the old building was donated. The structure was made with reused steel beams and the walls are drywall with thermal and acoustic insulation. This type of construction allowed less environmental impact during construction and will keep the concept sustainable throughout its useful life. The glasses allow the entry of natural light and have a film that filters UV rays. The project also adds permeable external floors, green walls and rainwater collection, which is filtered and used in toilets and irrigation. All lighting, air conditioning and other equipment are controlled by automation, where sensors monitor the presence, lighting and temperature, and optimize the use of energy.

BENEFIT - The aesthetic part had to have our face and at the same time it should contribute to urban design and encourage local culture. The contemporary work of art on the facade made by the local artist, Binho Ribeiro, perfectly captured what we wanted. The wall with steel cable allows every detail to be appreciated, helps in the interaction with the neighbors in addition to allowing access to the foot of jabuticaba that is competed between the children and the birds.
